ASHINGTON PLAYERS

The Ashington Players are a group of keen amateur performers and behind the scenes enthusiasts. We usually put on two performances most years ranging from pantomime to revues. We always welcome new faces whether it in front or behind the footlights.

ASHINGTON PLAYGROUP

Ashington Playgroup is based in the Small Hall and meets every weekday morning from 9 am until 12 noon. Our Thursday session is exclusively for the older children who will be starting school next September with an optional extra lunch session until 1 pm.
Our aim is to provide quality care and education for children below compulsory school age by 'Learning through Play' in a safe, caring, fun and stimulating environment.

• Inspected and validated by OFSTED
• Registered to receive Nursery Education Grant Funding for 3 and 4 year olds starting the term after the child's 3rd birthday
• High staff ratio of experienced and qualified staff.
• Free taster sessions are available

ASHINGTON TINY TOTS

Mothers and babies / toddlers to pre school age every Thursday 9.15am to 11 am - make new friends ! Lots to do including play, activities, crafts and parties.

INTERESTED IN FOOTBALL?

Ashington Junior Football Club have two boys squads for under 8s and under 15s. There is also a thriving girls under 14s squad. All our coaches are trained to at least FA level 1.

SHORT MAT BOWLS

WILLIAMS SCHOOL OF PERFORMING ARTS
